The Power of Collective Action to Drive Maritime Shipping Decarbonization

The Zero Emission Maritime Buyers Alliance (ZEMBA) was designed to accelerate commercial deployment of zero-emission shipping, enable economies of scale, and maximize cargo owners' collaborative emissions reduction potential beyond what any one freight buyer could accomplish alone. This presentation focuses on ZEMBA, its parent initiative Cargo Owners for Zero Emission Vessels (coZEV), and the impact that members can have by aggregating their demand.
