SPLC Honors Sustainable Procurement Excellence with 2024 Leadership Awards

May 13, 2024 - The Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council (SPLC) is pleased to announce that submissions are now being accepted for the 2024 SPLC Leadership Awards. These prestigious awards recognize purchasers and suppliers who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and innovation in driving sustainability through core procurement practices, resulting in significant positive impacts on their organizations and the world at large.
Nominations are sought for organizations and individuals who have implemented innovative sustainable purchasing practices that have led to measurable positive impacts. SPLC strongly encourages submissions that address social, economic, and ethical aspects of sustainable purchasing, as well as environmental impacts.
“The SPLC Leadership Awards highlight the critical role that sustainable procurement teams around the globe play in advancing environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic prosperity,” said Kris Spriano, Interim CEO and Director of Knowledge Design and Development at SPLC. “By recognizing those who have gone above and beyond in this area, SPLC aims to inspire others to follow suit and drive further progress towards a more sustainable future.”
Submissions for the 2024 SPLC Leadership Awards must be received by July 17, 2024. Winners will be selected by a panel of experts and will be honored during a virtual event in December 2024. Special consideration will be given to purchaser submissions that have completed the 2024 SP Assessment via SPLC Navigator.
