Regional Connect Events
Powered by Community, Driven by Purpose
SPLC is excited to announce two upcoming Regional Connect events this October in San Francisco and Boston (specific dates and locations TBA) — and we want you to be part of them!
We’re currently seeking speakers and session ideas that will inspire, educate, and activate our community of sustainable procurement leaders. The regional gatherings are designed to foster deep learning, peer exchange, and collaborative ideas — and your voice can help shape the conversation.
What We’re Looking For:
We welcome submissions that explore challenges, successes, innovations, or insights across the sustainable purchasing ecosystem, especially those that align with SPLC’s mission and values. Areas of interest and presentation formats include (but are not limited to):
- Climate and procurement strategy
- Supplier engagement
- Scope 3 emissions
- Circular economy and waste reduction
- Policy alignment and regulatory trends
- Internal change management and cross-functional collaboration
- Community driven initiatives
Presentation Formats:
- Member Spotlights: 10–15 minute presentations highlighting a specific project, initiative, or lesson learned
- Panel Conversations: Moderated dialogues featuring diverse perspectives on a shared topic
- Roundtable Discussions: Small-group, peer-led conversations focused on shared challenges or opportunities
- Interactive Workshops: Facilitated sessions designed for hands-on learning and co-creation
- Fireside Chats: Informal, interview-style discussions with leaders or innovators in the field
Who Should Submit:
We encourage practitioners, suppliers, consultants, public sector leaders, nonprofits, and anyone advancing sustainable purchasing to submit ideas — especially those with real-world stories, bold lessons, or local insights.
How to Submit:
Email SPLC Director of Community Jessica Paisley at jpaisley@sustainablepurchasing.org to submit a session idea or nominate yourself (or a colleague) to speak. The deadline for submissions is Monday, June 2, 2025.
