Monique Bennema

After moving to the US from the Netherlands more than 10 years ago, Monique decided to make a career transition. She finished her Master's in Sustainability from the Harvard University Extension School in 2019. During her studies, she started volunteering for a start-up company (New Earth B) owned by 2 of her professors. The company created a database to assess the social impacts of supply chains. She has now worked with them for 6 years. For the last few years, I have been responsible for all day-to-day activities, including but not limited to all the customers’ contacts, updating the website, and presenting during workshops and conferences. She has also updated and extended the database based on the latest voluntary and mandatory Human Rights Due Diligence trends. Monique thrilled at the prospect of finalizing her career transition in the sustainable supply chain domain.
