Best Practices for Sustainable Procurement through Amazon Business
Learn about Amazon Business best practices.
Every year, 5 million organizations spend $25 billion through Amazon Business. Over the last several years, Amazon has invested in changes to its offerings for institutional purchasers prioritizing sustainability. SPLC partnered with Amazon Business to convene an Online Purchasing Action Team charged with developing guidance to enable sustainable procurement with currently available tools and to provide recommendations for future improvements.
Join us on April 25, 2023, to learn more about these best practices and hear directly from members of the Online Purchasing Action Team as they cover how implementing the best practices helps them achieve sustainability goals, how they are addressing barriers to implementation, and why it’s important for purchasers to send a clear market signal to suppliers. We will also be joined by a member of the Amazon Business team who will demo how to enable these best practices.
