CHARME Workstream Launch Workshop

Welcome to the registration page for CHARME’s Workstream Launch Workshop, which will be taking place at CleanMed on Tuesday, May 21 from 8am-12pm. This session will be held at the Hyatt Regency, Salt Lake City in Room Salt Lake E.  We will be providing a vegetarian breakfast during this session.  

During this session, you will: 

• Meet your co-chairs and fellow participants

• Discuss your organization’s experience and challenges with workstream topics

• Review and iterate on a proposed 12-month roadmap 

• Define workstream structure and action plan 

• Establish participant roles and responsibilities and set a workstream meeting cadence

We will be launching two workstreams during this session - Product Innovation and Product Durability. You will be asked to choose one workstream when you register for the workshop.

Product Innovation: Create groups of health systems and suppliers to select target products or product categories, identify decarbonization opportunities, and pursue takeback programs, packaging changes, and/or product composition changes.

Product Durability: Set up a forum including clinicians and infection prevention professionals to evaluate opportunities to replace single-use devices with reprocessed or durable options while maintaining patient safety in different clinical environments.
