Is your supply chain ESG system regulator and investor “grade” for human rights and climate management?  North American-based regulations that intersect with an organization’s sourcing practices such as Canada’s Modern Slavery Act (Bill S-211) and California’s Climate Disclosure Rulings (SB 253 and SB261) are adding to a growing set of similar laws in Europe and beyond. These regulations impact public and private corporations in unprecedented ways and require specific actions and public-facing reporting.

Stakeholders know that the laws expose significant risks to brand reputation, revenue, and supply continuity. As a result, procurement teams and risk managers are finding that traditional risk-avoidance tactics are insufficient, and they are uncertain about the best approach to comply and manage these risks effectively.

In this discussion panel, we will explore the strategic approaches that businesses have been taking to prepare for upcoming supply chain regulatory requirements in North America, while highlighting how existing risk management frameworks, data reporting systems, and lessons learned from existing international due diligence programs can ensure success.
